There would be very little travel time but you would still be moving towards the location you were aiming. Once activated, a short animation of the frame charging up would be followed by a quick dash in the direction the player is aiming. The main purpose for this power is to give mobility to the frame, as well as build up the passive. If the damage is to high, the energy cost or multiplier could be adjusted, and if the damage was to low the multiplier could also be increased.Ībility 2: “Mobility tool” (idk for this one) This however, also doesn’t account for any damage the electric and slash procs will do. Getting thirty enemies trapped in any ability rarely happens though, except for in higher level content like steel path, so I don’t think it will be to overwhelming considering this equation doesn’t take armor values into account. With this equation, hitting 30 enemies with the first wave would give a 7.5 times multiplier to the second wave, and a total damage of 10,200. The total damage to at the wave would deal could be calculated like this, This damage would increase for every enemy that was caught and is now suspended from the first wave. It would then return toward the cast point at the same speed, again dealing damage to enemies caught by the first pass. The “bouce back” would activate once the wave traveled to its maximum travel distance or hit an obstacle. Four bars of meter will grant 150 cold damage with a guaranteed proc, and having five bars of meter will add and additional 150 to each of the four damage types as well as give the wave the ability to bounce back. Having three bars of meter built will grant 150 electric damage as well as a 100% chance for an electric proc. If you have your meter built to category two, the travel speed of the wave will be increased as well as the wave having an additional 150 slash damage. Every enemy hit would increase your Storm Drive by a small amount. The speed the wave travels as well as its width would be affected by modded range, the duration of travel as well as the duration enemies are lifted in the air would be affected by modded duration, the damage of the wave would be affected by modded power strength, and the cost would be reduced with modded efficiency. Any enemy caught would be suspended in the air for a short duration and dealt 150 impact damage. It would work by sending a wave in the shape of a circle straight forward through the air. This would be a cheap (25 energy) power with its main purpose being to build up your Storm Drive, deal decent damage, and crowd control enemies. Once you gain a level of Storm Drive, you can not lose it until you use your fourth ability, which will slowly drain the meter over time. The elements would not combine and instead be there own instances of damage on your attacks with their own element procs. Then the fifth and final buff would double the effect of your previous buffs, or the “Tempest” buff. Four would grant cold elements, or the “Hail” buff. Three would add electric elements to your attacks, or the “Thunder” buff. Two would grant extra damage and speed for your weapons and abilities, or the “Gale/Wind” buff. These special buffs would start at the second bar, or “Category 2”, and would proceed as follows. You would start the mission with one out of five bars filled, each bar giving 150 bonus armor as well as special buffs. The passive “Storm Drive” would work similar to Baruuk’s restraint or Gauss’s battery, were your abilities would build up a meter to grant your Warframe buffs.
#How to use power armor frame full#
The main drawback to this frame would be it’s rather intense energy drain as well as not being able to reach full strength instantly.
The frame would be on the frailer side to begin with, having lower hp and armor stats, but thanks to its passive as well as its third ability it would be able to become very tanky. This all would tie around your passive which would start at “Category 1,” and then build up to “Category 5” as youĬontinue to use your abilities. This would reward more experienced players who can make the most of their abilities while they are weaker with access to their more devastating versions of their abilities sooner. Your abilities would start fairly weak but as you build up your passive, you would find that almost all enemies will fall before you. So the main principle behind the “Tempest” Warframe is the longer you fight the more powerful you become. Some decent names I had were Raijin or Aeolus, both who are gods of storms in Japanese and Greek mythology respectively. Also, anything in parentheses are working titles. I’ve thought about it for awhile so I’m going to go pretty in depth about how it’s kit would function. Ok, so I had this idea for a really cool Warframe based around a storm.
