The rest is mostly slow but you can get on ground most of the time without having to go into the swamps. I loved the Georgia Plantation finale a lot and thought it got exciting when two tanks erupted from the depths. But it's lower on the list because it was just a campaign that was more slow. But I can say the Finale was interesting and is a cool way to end it. It showed in the early signs when the team got lazy and decided to put like 20 witches in the middle of the map and then having to go backtrack through that part again! It also hurts my eyes sometimes and is unpleasant to look at in the later stages and is much slower due to all the water from the storm.
But the problem is after the halfway mark, the campaign starts to falter. The fact you have to backtrack to the beginning is also an interesting mechanic. Hard Rain is not terrible to say, It starts out actually pretty good with the survivors trying to find gas for Virgil's boat. WHY THE HECK DON'T THE SURVIVORS JUST GO DOWN AND BRING BILL BACK FROM THE DEAD?! This also persists in The Passing campaign, they are just standing there not doing anything with their time to resurrect him! The other survivors don't even attempt to bring him back! This is the worst campaign mainly because the story has way too many plot holes. Considering the fact that there is defibrillators in the game.
#LEFT 4 DEAD 2 CUSTOM MAPS PLUS#
Plus the ending makes no sense now that I think about it. There were a few good set pieces like the tank coming out of the unlocked door and the boat but those felt slower paced than usual. Why? What are the consequences? Are there any? Was Bill in the Right to leave the people and Zoey in the wrong? Or is it the opposite way around? No answers at all not even a hint and the relationship between Zoey and Bill are underplayed. So Zoey is Mad at Bill for leaving some people behind. The fact that you have to read a comic to get the story doesn't make it any better.
#LEFT 4 DEAD 2 CUSTOM MAPS FREE#
This free DLC campaign is just not worth it. I decided to do this list because I'm replaying L4D2 and want to be more critical of the campaigns that were made. I will give reasons and stuff like that as well. I thought I would be interesting to go through all the campaigns created by Valve for Left 4 Dead 2.
